Memorial Sloan Kettering is seeking a Chief of the Early Drug Development and Immunotherapy Service, whose mission is to lead the translation of novel cancer therapeutics from the lab to the clinic. Applicants should send a CV and brief statement to [email protected].
@NatureMedicine MSK's Make-An-IMPACT program provides genetic sequencing & testing at no cost to qualifying patients with rare cancers. It's open to patients worldwide and there's no need to travel to MSK. Read more about the program and how to volunteer. https://t.co/Liqmx7eq2I
In the largest study of its kind led by MSK and published in @NatureMedicine, researchers found key targetable mutations driving the rare blood disease histiocytosis for nearly all of the people included in the study. Click below to read more. https://t.co/ozqUqI3aJm
Excited to share our study on genomic analysis of histiocytosis neoplasms in @NatureMedicine. >250 patients from @MSKCC and reference centers in France, Belgium, Spain, (plus histiocytosis patients worldwide via MSK's Make-An-IMPACT):

Great discussion today on recent advances in tumor and cell free DNA sequencing and #PrecisionMedicine with the doctors, nurses and staff at MSK Westchester. To improve outcomes for cancer patients, we must bring the best cancer care to the communities we serve. @sloan_kettering
The Make-an-IMPACT in effect!! Thank you Dalicia Reales @BernadetteMW@naki_naa Risha Huq @DSolit & @BarbaraSolit for all that you do to advocate for patients w/ select rare cancers to ensure their access to free sequencing @sloan_kettering https://t.co/fY2PFCZLK1
We now have prospective MSK-IMPACT results on >1000 urothelial cancers. Sequencing can guide treatment by identifying targetable genomic alterations, identify those most likely to respond to chemotherapy and immunotherapy and families with increased heritable risk. #bladdercancer
Looking forward to our 1st @sloan_kettering Kravis Center for Molecular Oncology Symposium on April 11th with Dr. Matthew Meyerson as Keynote Speaker. This years speakers will focus on the use of tumor profiling to accelerate the development of new therapies for cancer patients.
This program is open to all patients with a germ cell tumor who progressed after first-line chemotherapy. Also, for those with mediastinal nonseminoma regardless of prior treatment. Can join remotely; no need to come to @sloan_ketttering to participate!
🧬 Did you know 50% of people with cancers have a rare cancer. MSK's Make-an-IMPACT initiative provides individuals with rare cancers the opportunity to receive genomic testing. Learn More. #RareDiseaseDay https://t.co/WsHKZZcYVb
