Author - Revolution Road: A Bernie Bedtime Story (mythic celebration of Bernie Sanders & those inspired by him; mini-manifesto--adults + child friendly)
@stillonshore@PepperOceanna Yes. Even small projects need that leadership spark. Small example--I started a global kids' art project, "Honor the Earth" from my Rotary club. 1st yr Uganda winner used his $250 for full yr college! When my active leadership ended some yrs later, project died. Common.
The science is clear: if we do not address climate change now, we will suffer greater and more frequent climate disasters and the Earth will become increasingly uninhabitable.
It’s time we listen to scientists, not the fossil fuel industry.
@KnitterSanity@GracieshumanKim So sorry to hear what you went through. I spent a lot of my life writing grants for projects and programs to help parents and children. It hurts to see pain like yours. Send a message any time 🦋
4+ years ago…I made this to meet Dan’s Bernie request. And am #StillSanders. He is still working every day to help working people and still inspires us to get involved #NotMeUs
@TempskiJoe@BernieSanders Glad to meet a member of our big Bernie family. Yes, hearing him speak is a great experience. I saw him in Chicago. Even waiting in line wasn’t so bad—we heard lots of good stories about volunteering, running for local office, etc. Laughs & heart=#NotMeUs
@bern_identity @ChumpDingo @BernieSanders Thank you for all of your contributions, and for being so open and kind to new people like me. You can’t imagine how important that is. You are truly appreciated.
