Several Chinese media outlets have confirmed that Deepseek V5 is scheduled to be trained using Huawei’s Ascend chips, so we have reason to infer that Deepseek’s next model will likely be Deepseek V4.1 Pro.

The Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Summit was held in Shenzhen from October 29–30, themed "Collective Intelligence & Synergistic Growth: Unleashing Productivity Across All Scenarios."

Key announcements from the main summit included:
— Buddy One: A cross-application AI productivity suite for individual users. Built on the "WorkBuddy" foundation, it integrates Tencent Docs, Tencent Meeting, "ima," and the newly launched Tencent Cloud Drive—unifying user accounts, computing resource pools, and contextual data.
— Hy4 and Hy4 Flash: Both were previewed. Compared to the Hy4 preview version, Hy4 offers enhanced capabilities for long-horizon and real-world productivity tasks, improved chain-of-thought efficiency, and the introduction of visual understanding. Specific release dates, technical parameters, and pricing have not yet been disclosed.
— Trusted AI Governance Framework: Ensuring controllable behaviors, traceable processes, and manageable data.

Statistics cited during the summit: A daily volume of 500 trillion tokens in China (as of July 2026, based on national statistical criteria); Tencent Cloud has deployed over 2 million servers, with a footprint spanning more than 150 countries and regions, and a doubling of active overseas clients year-over-year.

Event scale: Featuring over 100 new AI agent products, more than 500 practical use cases, over 40 specialized sessions, and a 7,200-square-meter exhibition area.

Valve’s message in Busan was consistent: they will not police AI tools, will not filter AI-made games, and have no timeline for any changes. They’re focused on improving discovery instead.
