The first Millennials were born in 1981, which means there are now 40-year-old Millennials.
And Millennials still have 4.6% of all U.S. wealth.
When the average Baby Boomer was 30, they had 21% of all wealth.
56 new billionaires minted in 2020, all while millions starve and on brink of homelessness... seems like a shitty pandemic mess.
“America’s billionaires hold ~$4 trillion in wealth—roughly 2x what the 165 million poorest Americans are collectively worth.” https://t.co/q0dFb84VA6
8. I wish I could say I found this encouraging. But there doesn't seem to be anything preventing American Crossroads from just posting the same ad again. I've asked Facebook about this -- what they do to prevent someone from reposting an ad -- and haven't gotten a response.
1. These ads from a GOP Super PAC falsely attacking Raphael Warnock are still up.
They've been up for two days.
We can rule out negligence.
Facebook is deliberately ignoring their rules to allow this false attack to be distributed on its platform.
How do I know?
Jeff Bezos, the owner of the Washington Post, increased his wealth by $87 billion in just 9 months. He is denying his workers paid sick leave, hazard pay and the right to form a union. And now his paper thinks you should not get a $2,000 survival check. Yeah. Big surprise.
Unpopular opinion on JD clip since we must be 100% on one side. One can fight passionately on matters of life & death & also have proficient communication skills in shared group formats (vs monologue). Protesters get loud AF all the time at rallies but switch it up in a panel.
Minneapolis Police have released this one clip of yesterday's shooting of Dolal Idd by multiple officers.
Other officers had bodycams, but "other footage is not available to the public and it will not be posted here" according to the department: https://t.co/xeRjImugHA
@NTayloy @politicoalex @jonathanvswan How is the state or states he objects to not offended and seeking to punish him and his state for the unwarranted attempt to disenfranchise an entire state?
I sure as hell would expect my own Congress people and Senators to stand up for my vote. This is crazy stuff to me.
@oforheavens@don_quickoats @WildflowerSRQ @jimmy_dore A small group on both sides keep centering Dore. Most people don't give af about Dore either way.
Mitch McConnell says $2,000 checks are "socialism for the rich." Ha!
Here are the tax rebate checks corporations received from Trump's tax plan:
Amazon: $129 million
Delta: $187 million
Chevron: $181 million
GM: $104 million
IBM: $342 million
That's socialism for the rich!
