@cabbusses@Schaffrillas Calling them good villains when they’re from a dialogue lessgame with barely any plot is…a choice.
Like if we go only by the original game, DK is nothing but a King Kong ripoff.
@Schaffrillas I’m just now realizing that Dreamworks is consistently very good at integrating modern pop songs into their movies without feeling forced.
@DiscussingFilm Everyone is focusing on how this makes Disney seem desperate, but they’re ignoring that regardless of intention, this will be great for the creators of these movies which range from okay to amazing
@MarioEmmet The issue I’m seeing is none of these movies are really original. Wish is the only one here that’s not a sequel or remake, but everything that movie does has been done before.
@Money05Mayhem @CinnamonQu19003 @ToonHive I mean, at the most simplistic level a movie is just a written story. It makes sense that it would be the most important aspect.
@Armand_Gman I would have imagined Wapeach to have a brown dress and black hair (since we don’t have a black haired princess in Mario yet). The Wa’s tend to be exaggerated twisted versions of the original, so Wa peach would probably lean very hard to being a spoiled diva. Valley Girl type.
@sillyabtspiders He made a horrible mistake in the moment, but after having time to think he decided his daughter was more important than his job and quit.
@Money05Mayhem @CinnamonQu19003 @ToonHive Illumination has certainly been stepping up their presentation, but I still don’t expect much in the script department.
It’ll probably be generic and shallow, but inoffensive and less annoying than some of their other movies.
