@TwitterSupport My other twitter account needed a "password reset" for some "suspicious activity"??? on my regular account. I've tried resetting the password 7 times now and each time it just says there is an error and I can't log in?????
@ABC Sorry but one thing I wonโt agree on. @IAGovernor should not be praised. She should declare a shutdown. I applaud Dr. Fauci and all heโs done. But even he said he didnโt understand why all states havenโt issued shelter at home. So I donโt understand the disconnect.
A7: Be in as many twitter chats as possible! They are more useful than you think. Also, take advantage of the fact that you can reach out to VIRTUALLY ANYONE. Even if they don't respond, a great thing to do. #tlap
A6: Setting up a twitter page or website for the classroom that updates parents and public on class and school events would be great. Getting the word out on social media for school is a really important part. Also, make sure to actively use it!! #tlap
A5: Not a quote but my curriculum teacher talks about paying attention to "failure moments" and how they are the moments that you learn from and grow the most. #tlap
A4: A little can go a LONG way. Showcasing student work, following up with students to congratulate their effort, having students write thank you cards to staff members, inviting families in to talk about different experiences and conduct read-alouds. #tlap
A3: Obviously not experienced enough for this question, but excited to see what people say and how I might interpret them. Great preparation technique! #tlap
A2: I think in my future classrooms, I want to try and incorporate families and their expertise in different subjects in my instruction. I also want to ensure that my students feel welcomed and safe in my classroom. #tlap
A1: Although I have not personally dealt with this, my best guess would be what some have already said, it takes time to change. Some people are not going to go with it easily, which is fine, but you must be prepared to deal with them. #tlap
Hello #tlap friends. We are so excited to be tweeting LIVE with the #wopenspaces crew. @bethhouf and I are recruiting more PIRATES over here in Bend, OR! Please introduce yourself and give our new friends a warm welcome!
A6: Something you might have already covered: Virtual Reality. I really love the idea of implementing this tech into the classrooms and the amount of great experiences students can have, right in their own classroom. #edtechchat
A5: It seems already that I have followed and connected with many great educators! Hopefully some day I will be able to collaborate with classrooms across the nation! #edtechchat
A4: Being that this is my first chat, I can surely say that the amount of interaction that there is has been great. Thank you for making me feel heard! #edtechchat
A3: Just watching current educators discuss about important topics in #edtech is extremely helpful! It's hard to really know how my first classroom will be like and what I am going to implement. So seeing what works best is amazing! #edtechchat
As a student in high school, it was at times really frustrating and I saw no point in dealing with tech. However, seeing how classrooms use iPads or laptops, it blows my mind. There are so many things, I believe thoughtful tech integration can bring to education. #edtechchat
