Nigeria Customs Service Main Test starts Thursday (Batch by Batch)

Important guidelines from the pre-test experience:

1. Login only at your time
– Do not log in unless it’s the exact time given to you by the board.

2. One device only
– Don’t log in with phone first and then switch to computer.
– System will block you.

3. Stable network
– If your internet shakes, the system can auto-submit.
– Make sure your connection is strong before you start.

4. Quiet environment
– 3 warnings = auto-logout or submission.
– Even small noise, door knocks, looking away from the webcam, shaking head, or blinking too much can trigger it.
– Choose a calm place and let someone monitor the surroundings.

5. Avoid distractions
– Don’t stand up, don’t talk, don’t try to check your phone.
– Don’t attempt to open other tabs or apps on your computer.
– Don’t use calculators or any external gadgets.

6. If using phone hotspot
– Put phone on Do Not Disturb (DND)
– Forward your calls
– Keep it on silent

7. Practice wisely
– Past questions may not come exactly, but they help you prepare.

8. Mindset matters
– Don’t put too much pressure or high expectations.
– Do your best, keep calm, and leave the rest to Allah.

I am excited to be at the Arewa Tech Fest in Kano State. The organization has done a tremendous job in partnering with Afri Ventures Capital Company. Today was the first day of the event and it was very educative and refreshing. The opening remarks by the co-founder of Arewa Tech Fest, Salma Nabila Phillips detailed the vision of the organisers to energise and support the Arewa Tech industry. The welcome address by the Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Abba Yusuf who was ably represented by the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo stated the initiatives of the Kano State Government in harnessing the entrepreneurial zeal of the citizens of Kano, as well as the Northern Nigeria as a whole. The Governor of Katsina, His Excellency Dikko Umar Rafa, PhD commended the organisers of the event and the Convener, Mallam Nasir @elrufai. He described the development of the technological industry among all Northern states as a major step in tackling the multifaceted issues the North is currently facing. He reminded the public that Katsina successfully rolled out a similar initiative in partnership with the former Minister of Communications & Digital Economy, @ProfIsaPantami some weeks ago. The CEO of Outsource Global, Amal Hassan gave a great speech about the journey of her company and its positive impact on improving the lives of tech enthusiasts, vendors and the business environment she operates, Abuja, Kaduna, Kano and Gombe. She emphasised the importance of value chains and eco-systems. The Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness, Muhammad Sanusi II gave a moving speech about the North harnessing its full potential. HRH described the digital space as the last option of the North. He stressed the need to fully embrace the 4th Industrial Revolution, if the North is to live up to its full potential. He urged policymakers, governments, investors and traditional leaders to key into this if the young people of the North are to have a chance at a fulfilled life. He commended former Governor El-Rufai for his efforts to continue to impact society even after office. On his part, the Convener and Chairman of Afri Ventures, Mallam Nasir @elrufai stated that over 2, 700 individuals registered for the event. He thanked everyone present and stated his immense gratitude to the Governors of Kano, Katsina and Zamfara. He also mentioned other key partners and sponsors and thanked them for their support. According to him, the event would not have been possible without them. He announced that the next state to host will be Katsina State at whatever time the Governor chooses in 2025. The first panel, Policy & Technology – Digital Transformation Policies: Strategies for Technological Evolution had Distinguished Senator and Chairman of the Committee on ICT & Cyber Security, a fellow Parliamentarian that is very experienced and competent, Senator Afolabi Salisu. Hon. Mohammed Othman, the Commissioner of Science, Technology and Innovation of Kano State, a representative of the DG of @NITDANigeria, the DG of Katsina State Directorate of Information & Communications Technology, Mallam Naufal Ahmed, @9Aufal. Finally, my dear elder brother @Habibgajam, PhD, the DG of the Zamfara Information & Technology Development Agency, @Zitda_Info. The session was well moderated by Hajiya Rakiya Mohammed, the CEO of Digibit Solutions Limited. I am looking forward to more. Thank you to everyone that attended.
