Remote and hybrid learning have its down falls but it was so nice to hear that interaction and hear the sincerity in his voice when he said Thank You. Quality education is still happening.

[Miss Besser @BesserLauren]

Twice a week I sit in a chemistry class while the teacher teaches remotely. At the start of class today a student said “I had a quiz bowl event Saturday and 5 questions were about this unit and I wanted to thank you for how you taught us because I remembered every answer” 🤩

@GovMurphy Do we have the ability to know how many of those total cases have been discharged from hospitals or have made it through the 2 weeks of infection? It would be cool to see the total cases vs the current active and past cases @GovMurphy thank you from NJ Teachers

[Governor Phil Murphy @GovMurphy]

When they write the history books on #COVID19, will we be able to say that we did all we could to stop it? Will we have saved as many lives as possible?

It is in ALL our hands to do what's right.

Stay home. Stay safe. Stay informed. #FlattenTheCurve

[Miss Besser @BesserLauren]

It just hit me that my first set of students I ever taught is graduating this year! I cannot believe they are seniors 😭 if any of my PTHS seniors are on here I’d love to know if you decided on schools or if you have plans for next year. Miss you all 💙💛

[Miss Besser @BesserLauren]

We’re watching Super Bowl XLII as if we don’t know who wins 😂 #GoGiants good to see Strahan, Tuck, Feagles, Burress, Toomer, Blackburn, Umenyiora and the rest of the 08 Giants 🏈 I asked Santa for a Kiwanuka jersey that year

[Miss Besser @BesserLauren]

@jonmcburney @pthsnation @pthsgirlssoccer Whatever it takes

[Miss Besser @BesserLauren]

@schulte_mr Idk if this will help with your paper, but if you haven’t read This Republic of Suffering by Drew Faust it was really interesting

I’ve received feedback from 40 of my students over the past 2 weeks about how they’re adjusting and what they’re doing in their spare time. Thankful that they are all healthy and staying positive ☺️

Just spoke with @NJEA and education leaders from across the state to thank them for all they're doing to ensure our children continue to receive an education. Moments like this remind all of us that we have the #1 public schools in the nation because we have the best educators.
