* Fake activism poisons credibility.
* Silence protects predators. When caregivers look away to “avoid conflict,” they become part of the harm.
* Fame-hungry activism feeds dog-haters. Every exposed lie becomes ammunition against the entire dog loving community.

So where do we begin?

We begin by cleaning our own house, even if it costs comfort, connections, or clout.

* Call out neglect — even when it comes from “known names.”
* Support quiet, consistent caregivers, not loud faces.
* Demand transparency, accountability, and equal treatment for all injured animals.
* Stop worshipping saviors; start protecting victims.
* Choose integrity over popularity — every single time.

Dog-haters are loud, yes.
But hypocrisy is what makes them powerful.

If animal welfare is to survive with dignity, it must be built on truth, fairness, and courage, not filters and followers.

एक लकवाग्रस्त पपी के नाम पर राजनीति, बुलिंग और साज़िश की पूरी सच्चाई
इस पूरे मामले में इतनी ज़्यादा राजनीति, बुलिंग और आरोप-प्रत्यारोप हो रहे हैं कि एक मासूम, लकवाग्रस्त (Paralyzed) पपी की असली पीड़ा कहीं दबकर रह गई है। ऐसा लगता है मानो कुछ लोगों के पास इस पपी को मोहरा बनाने के अलावा कोई और काम ही नहीं है।

यह पपी अक्टूबर महीने में रोहिणी से रेस्क्यू की गई थी। वह एक गरीब मेड के घर में रहती थी, जहाँ कुछ कुत्तों ने उसे बुरी तरह झकझोर दिया। इस हमले के कारण उसकी स्पाइन में गंभीर कंप्रेशन हुआ और वह पूरी तरह लकवाग्रस्त हो गई।

वह गरीब महिला इस पपी का महँगा इलाज अफ़ोर्ड नहीं कर सकती थी। मजबूरी में उसने लोकल लोगों, शेल्टर और एनिमल हेल्प ग्रुप्स से मदद माँगी। इसी दौरान एक street feeder ने पूरी नेक नीयत से तान्या वाधवा की मदद से इस पपी को संजना जी के शेल्टर तक पहुँचाया।

लेकिन बाद में संजना जी के शेल्टर से यह कहकर पपी को बाहर भेज दिया गया कि उसे रीमा जी के घर अडॉप्शन के लिए भेजा जा रहा है।

यहीं से असली खेल शुरू हुआ।

रीमा खुराना ने गोद लेने की झूठी कहानी बनाकर संजना जी के आश्रय से पपी ‘खुशी’ को लिया—और फिर उसे मेरे आश्रय में छोड़ दिया। इसके बाद वही महिला मुझे, मेरे स्टाफ को और यहाँ तक कि स्थानीय पुलिस को परेशान करने की हिम्मत कर रही है।

इतना ही नहीं, वह एक मशहूर हस्ती अंबिका शुक्ला का नाम और प्रभाव इस्तेमाल करके मुझ पर दबाव बना रही है, धमका रही है और ज़बरदस्ती पपी वापस देने को कह रही है।

मेरी बात साफ़ है—

पीछे हट जाओ।
मैं उन लोगों में से नहीं हूँ जो

जानवरों पर अत्याचार करने वालों से समझौता करें

या मासूम, अपाहिज कुत्तों को राजनीति का मोहरा बनने दें

जब बात जानवरों की ज़िंदगी और सम्मान की होती है, तब मैं “अच्छी इंसान” बनने का नाटक नहीं करती—
मैं सही इंसान बनती हूँ।

You have been calling people and my local police repeatedly regarding Khooshi, the paralyzed puppy from Rohini.

Unfortunately, this vulnerable pup has been turned into a chess pawn in the name of animal welfare.

Khooshi was taken from Sanjana’s shelter by Reema Khurana under the pretext of adoption and was subsequently abandoned and dumped at my shelter.

Considering her condition and well-being, I brought her to my home to ensure the best possible care.

Now, I am being informed that same Reema Khurana wishes to “adopt” Khooshi again!!

I was under the impression that PFA does not support animal abandoners. Sadly, this situation suggests otherwise.

Since undue pressure is being created on our good Police, I am willing to hand over the puppy back to Reema Khurana only under one condition:

Please provide a written guarantee on official PFA letterhead, clearly stating that:

* Khooshi will not be abandoned again
* Khooshi will not be dumped in any other shelter or location
* Full responsibility for her lifelong care will rest with Reema Khurana

If such a written assurance is provided, I will cooperate accordingly.

If not, you are free to continue contacting whoever you deem fit.

The welfare and safety of the puppy remains my sole priority.

Conflicting Orders on #StrayDogs

The issue is no longer administrative confusion — it is a legal and constitutional breakdown!

The Supreme Court has, over time, passed mutually contradictory directions:

* Earlier rulings upheld the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Rules & PCA Act 1960, mandating *sterilisation, vaccination, and return of community dogs to their original territories* as the lawful and scientific method of population control.
* Subsequent observations have questioned or criticised the return of sterilised dogs, prioritising public safety without setting conferring with the ABC Rules or earlier binding precedents.

This contradiction violates:

* Article 14: (equality before law) — arbitrary and inconsistent application of law
* Article 21 — both human safety *and* animal life and dignity
* Principles of Natural Justice— certainty, predictability, and fairness in law

When binding law remains in force but oral or interim directions pull in the opposite direction, municipal bodies act without accountability, enforcement agencies improvise, and animals become the collateral damage.

The result is visible and undeniable:

* Illegal lifting and relocation
* Use of prohibited catching methods
* Unchecked cruelty under the excuse of “court orders”
* Daily reports of violence against community dogs

Public safety cannot be achieved by suspending the rule of law, and animal welfare cannot survive legal ambiguity.

What is needed is not emotive reactions or populist orders, but:

* Clear reaffirmation or lawful modification of the ABC Rules
* Consistency with prior judgments
* Accountability for cruelty committed under administrative misuse

Until then, these conflicting directions will continue to fuel fear, violence, and injustice — "not safety, not coexistence, and certainly not justice".
