@KeithGr54210590@No_Bikers π€£ Have you seen legal aid rates? Trust me, his solicitors will have been begging the Crown to release the funds they've seized so they can charge him a private fee.
@calum_nicolson@gracebrod1e@WingsScotland@GlasgowAdvocate Common dodge, in the Sheriff Court at least, in alleged domestic violence/ sex offences. Refuse to instruct a solicitor, court has to appoint one on legal aid. Lawyers try to avoid them and they end up with the PDSO. But can't pay privately if funds frozen by the Crown.
@sisterousier@kacnutt@heraldscotland Itβs not uncommon, unfortunately. Trust me, lawyers would prefer the money to be available to pay them, rather than rely on the derisory Legal Aid rates. Thereβs no one so relieved as his solicitors, who wonβt have to sit in the High Court for six weeks being paid peanuts
Very pleased to see a write up of Relatively Guilty prior to its first paperback release on 18 June. It's where it all starts for Robbie Munro. https://t.co/wmVhqS1iYf

@ThePosieParker All the same, credit where credit is due, for her to win the awards for most empty-headed and obnoxious guest ever on Question Time is something of an achievement.
@LidlGB Lidl 'ready to eat' large avocados. Unfortunately, I wasn't ready to eat them. Don't know why I risked shopping there, their fruit and veg is consistently crap.
@Daily_Record James McIntyre's 30-year career as a lawyer? π I know my brother's smart, but he got the jail in 1997, I didn't realise he started work when he was 10! Murrell will be sent to Dumfries on protection, where he will be fine.
