@SciGuySpace You said Ariane 5 was $900 million for 6 launches and Ariane 6, including the subsidy was $860. That $860 million should be compared to $1.04 billion, since you didn't include the $140 million in subsidies for Ariane 5.

So there's actually a $180 million/year savings, maybe.

I AM seeing carbon sticking out on the far end. So it seems to me that the carbon was bonded to this and broke free, fairly cleanly, during the implosion.

@TTrevethan @DJSnM Actually, in this case it sounds like unit testing wouldn't have caught the issue. All the individual systems worked, it was just an issue of too much data overloading the system when it was doing the real thing.

It changes daily, even hourly.

Even for just launches, SpaceX has launched 5x more than the rest in America, combined.
