Exactly a month into my #NQP acute role and I can’t wait to tick off two big firsts tomorrow:
- supporting a FEES for pt who has been distressed by their cough when drinking for months
- A joint with a MCA practitioner to assess a patients capacity around ceilings of care

It’s still sinking in that I had my first interview to be an SLT this morning - whatever the outcome I can’t believe I’m actually at this stage! Just research project to hand in on Friday, then final placement before qualifying (🤞🏼) 🥳🥳🥳 #slt2b
