@liperrea6 @NU_ChemE Thank you Lindsay! We plan on optimizing the capital costs of our process (which may alter some of the smaller components in the system), but are fixed on the large unit operations.

How do you plan on handling these waste streams / if there were an event that caused an overflow, how would you deal with it?
@ThomasJWebster1@NU_ChemE Currently the upfront capital cost to install our system is steep, so it is not accessible to a large percent of the population. However, like solar panels, the materials and design of microCHP systems are improving exponentially and will be more cost effective in the near future
@ThomasJWebster1@NU_ChemE The cold weather climate we are targeting includes the upper Midwest and Northeast regions of the United States; so areas with definite seasons, and a long cold period (below 50F for at least 6 months)
