Did you know that 1 in 15 children are exposed to domestic violence each year? All but two of the children we have served saw or overheard the abuse of their mothers from a partner. Help us support women and their children escaping domestic violence by making a donation today. 💜

Our motto is at the heart of our philosophy and shapes our response to domestic violence. We believe that love is foundational for healing. Healing, then, is essential if one is to really thrive. We love, so that one can heal, and ultimately thrive.

Bethesda House provides a safe, trauma-informed environment for women and children who are escaping violence. We promote healthy, non-abusive interpersonal relationships through intervention, prevention, and education in the hope of ending domestic violence in our community.
