Maybe you’ll find them helpful and a source of hope.

JUDGE: “There is no question the extraordinary deterioration of the Library, unabated, poses a significant risk to public health, safety, and welfare. Those risks include mold exposure, poor air quality, falling structures, illicit and nefarious activities... collapsing ceilings"
I learned this weekend that my husband has never seen RHPS, and I’m not sure how I missed that in my dating screening process.

I wish that people who say libraries don't matter anymore could take a tour of ours right now. All of our computers are full, and the tables are full of people studying, while grandparents read Mo Willems book in the children's department. We haven't even been open an hour.
The idea that librarians spend all their time telling children to shush is an unflattering, outdated, and severe stereotype. We actually spend all our time telling children to stop running.
