One year later, the devastation still lives on in Myanmar. Homes were lost, families were torn apart, and communities were left to rebuild from grief and rubble. Today, we remember those lost, honor those still rebuilding, and stand with the resilience that endures.
The urgent need was clear: shelter and food for 250 families. Resources were limited, but the commitment remained. Displacement continues to define daily life for many. Sustained support is critical to help communities rebuild with dignity.
Last year, 852 people from 249 families fled to Palawtapoh camp after escaping violence in multiple villages. Within days, the population nearly doubled. Behind the numbers are families seeking safety, stability, and a future beyond displacement.
Children should never be targets. Families should not live under constant threat. These realities must not fade from view. Continued awareness, accountability, and sustained attention are essential in confronting these violations of human rights.
Last year, airstrikes in Mogok killed three children and injured four more when bombs hit a futsal field where they were playing. This was not collateral damage. It was a direct attack on civilians, a stark reminder of the ongoing violence faced by communities in Myanmar.
A lot goes unspoken in the body: stress, fear, exhaustion that lingers.
We’re hosting a 90-minute guided session on nervous system healing, with practice and open Q&A. This is also a fundraiser supporting communities in Myanmar.

Palawtapoh Camp is now sheltering 852 displaced people—431 men and 421 women—from 249 families who fled Lay Kay Kaw, Yathay Gu, Faluu, Min Latpan, and Mae Htaw Thalay. They lost everything, almost overnight.
Families were officially registered on Sept 9, 2025, but displacement is accelerating—the number of families doubled in just days. The situation is volatile, urgent, and growing faster than current resources can absorb.
