The problem with watching the sport like this is it’s utterly nonsensical, and it largely only comes from one side. The Prem fans.

There are countless example of players dominating English football, then coming to Spain and looking completely clueless.

What does that prove? That football is an incredibly nuanced sport. And if your basis of assessment is as reductive as “he did well in league a, but didn’t in league b, so league b must be better!”, you don’t get the sport.
