@RishiSunak Please clarify if the VAT reduction applies to outside caterers? We serve food & are an important part of hospitality, but sadly once again only restaurants & bars have been recognised. Plus, still no road map for #events, whereas bars & restaurants are now open!

@BorisJohnson Could you possibly give the #wedding & #event industry a road map please? We are part of #hospitality but have sadly been forgotten!! Pubs & restaurants open this weekend, great! So, why can’t we have wedding receptions & small events?

Clarity needed if wedding receptions will go ahead this year at all. Theme parks opening tomorrow- really... Mr Johnson thousands of pound spent and state of mind is unsettling for bridal party. Please reconsider.

The wedding guidance compared to the restaurants, BINGO and social club guidance is unbalanced . Please discuss and call for a rethink. Lots of cash involved and have family & friends who are socially aware of this distancing rule.

@BorisJohnson Sadly you’ve not given any road map for the #wedding & #events industry as yet? Wedding ceremonies for up to 30 guests, but a wedding reception with a maximum of 2 households? But pubs & restaurants can open, so we can all go and be with strangers but not our friends & family? 🤔

People need to read the guidance on weddings, they are only allowed in places of worship, not civil ceremonies. Clearly @BorisJohnson doesn’t understand how much money these weddings bring to the economy even capped at 30... hotels can open, but can’t host a wedding...
