@MartinSLewis My home insurer took my money 9 days before renewal. Got my money back after finding quote half the price. My motor insurer kept bugging me by phone and email to renew two weeks before renewal and I rang to pay 3 days before renewal and they took my money right away! Desperate?

@DVLAgovuk Sold our vehicle 4th May and had a letter to say refunds taking up to 8 wks but when you call the auto msg tells you not to call until 10 wks.
