@CrusaderIan @askcolinnoble @suffolkcc I remember many years ago when this first reared its head the then County Councillors in my District patch where jubilant, the reason they saw themselves as superior to me and they as the elite would be picked to stand.

@confidencenac It is extremely difficult to be a Councillor and work full time, regrettably I had to give up being a Cllr , it was possible when I was at SCDC , but when it became East Suffolk I could not do both work and be a Cabinet member, it is a full time role.

@Waggetteone @benp_norton The weasel words of the Lib Dem’s on challenging the local plan won them the seats in Orwell and Villages, they were not honest with the electorate, nothing new there. I suspect the planning inspector may be busy overturning decisions made by planning committee South.

@benp_norton Your disappointed, I am gutted , SCDC and ES have plans in place to build, Felixstowe needs to expand, planing policy is delivering homes for affordable rent. I wish the new portfolio holder well but ES does not have the capacity to deliver 500 Council houses.
