Ok that isn't gonna trouble the #BeyondFriday top tier but I quite liked it. Weird vibes, made zero sense, worked a lot better if you decide it is not a slasher.
@ParamitePies I haven't seen much but I now only follow like 50 people lol. But I have seen a variation of it before, there is huge tranch of 'left' men who are utter misogynistic pricks.
One year ago today these two beauties came into our lives and made it so much better. We think they were born in August so we made this their birthday too. Three today my wonderful Linda and Agnรจs. Hats *may* be digitally added.
Plenty of great stuff this week including If.... and Mean Girls but I would point you to Film 4 at 11am tomorrow for the masterpiece that is The Straight Story.
I wasn't a big fan of Personal Shopper but I think about it a lot and should rewatch. It had something.
After what felt like years I have gone on a bit of a reading streak, four books in less than two weeks. Felt like the old days. Started with Stephen King's Billy Summers, a fine book, though it's first half is where the real treasure is. Very enjoyable overall.
I devoured Megan Nolan's Acts of Desperation in the last couple of days. An astonishingly personal and graphic look at a relationship, all consuming love and the self. Some startling prose, it seesawed in surprising ways. Really liked. Looking forward to more from her.
