@lordthx1139 @thethirtysixco @FrostyTakes @alexthechick @BudLightSadness Uh, fuck your feelings?

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@lordthx1139 @thethirtysixco @BudLightSadness Orwell mocked authoritarianism, not communism or democracy

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@lordthx1139 @thethirtysixco @FrostyTakes @alexthechick @BudLightSadness Banning doesn't mean illegal, unless it's a law? But a morality statute doesn't make a book illegal, it makes it's content illegal.

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@OrwellsNotebook Ok then we should retroactively charge the perpetrators of the Boston tea party

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@okistatawan @hidewatchlaugh @thethirtysixco @BudLightSadness Don't forget to tell them to disband Leo and fire agencies while you're at it because those are socialist

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@soundgavel @BudLightSadness I'm a constitutionalist, book bans are unconstitutional, especially based on morality.

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@okistatawan @hidewatchlaugh @thethirtysixco @BudLightSadness Yes, but it was also a critique of authoritarianism and tolitarianism. Not to mention if you hate socialism that much tell your representative to ban the VA.

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@SasQuatchamo1 @FrostyTakes @alexthechick @thethirtysixco @BudLightSadness Fake outrage? Ma'am it was banned in school, not from private business.

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@SasQuatchamo1 @FrostyTakes @alexthechick @thethirtysixco @BudLightSadness Is that a school retard? Jackson County, Florida, in 1981. Local school officials banned and removed the book from school libraries and curricula after receiving complaints that it contained sexually explicit content and, ironically, promoted a "pro-communist" message.

@DavidPe51482177 @smittie61984 @alexthechick @thethirtysixco @BudLightSadness Ooo I challenged your beliefs based on historical precedent

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@flinniesdream @thethirtysixco @FrostyTakes @alexthechick @BudLightSadness And you sound like you vote by the taste of boot

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@cigarsandlegs @BudLightSadness Pornographic doesn't mean porn in this context it means lewd, lacivious, immoral. Pornography was used to describe any material that did not follow puritan doctrine.

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@cigarsandlegs @BudLightSadness Banned from sale does not equal banned from school which the store is highlighting

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@cigarsandlegs @BudLightSadness Hey if op can make blanket statements without nuance I can too

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@DavidPe51482177 @smittie61984 @alexthechick @thethirtysixco @BudLightSadness Prove me wrong, either explain why you think your backwards puritan bullshit should dictate what I read or explain why you hate the constitution

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@thethirtysixco @FrostyTakes @alexthechick @BudLightSadness Again do you not understand a morality statue, you ungrateful, un-American fuck?

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@DavidPe51482177 @smittie61984 @alexthechick @thethirtysixco @BudLightSadness It’s Perfectly Normal by Robie H. Harris (Illustrated by Michael Emberley) is a widely acclaimed, age-appropriate children's educational guide about human anatomy, reproduction, puberty, and sexual health. Yet it's been banned for being pornographic.

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

Your allegiance is to a party and ideology, my allegiance is to the constitution, we are not the same

[not Jeff bezos @BezosAWS]

@FrostyTakes @alexthechick @thethirtysixco @BudLightSadness Also my mistake it was 1984 that was banned for being too communist and simultaneously too authoritarian
