@kushanmitra It’s important to remember that not all disabilities are visible. Many people with chronic or invisible health conditions rely on wheelchairs for mobility support, even if they appear physically able. Greater awareness and empathy can make a real difference.
Update: My luggage finally arrived in Delhi, but 2/3 bags were damaged. My health is improving, but the stress of @airindia’s cancellations & @FlySWISS mishandling lingers. Chronically ill travelers need empathy, not added hurdles. #AirlineAccountability#AirIndia
@airindia You had messaged me at 4am, usually people are asleep at that hour. I did reply to it. Kindly arrange for the requested call at anytime during 11am - 11pm. Thanks
@vishal1mehra@airindia Not yet. Recovery from flareups takes longer, really hoping I wouldn’t have to be hospitalised due to all this. My levels aren’t critical as yet and hoping them not to drop further. 🤞
Our Italy trip was meant to rejuvenate us, but @airindia’s failures—cancellations, no wheelchair support, lost luggage—flared up my autoimmune conditions. My parents were helpless without me. Demanding answers and compensation under EC 261/2004! #Travel#Health
@airindia I have been in touch with your ground team in Zurich and they have all my details. I have been unwell and off my phone. My bag tags, for your reference.
#AirIndia, your “technical issues” and lack of care ruined our post-vacation spirit. No meds, no food, no luggage, and a health crisis for me. Filing claims for cancellations, delays, and lost baggage. Others facing this, let’s connect! #PassengerRights
I did, but my oral syrups of potassium couldn’t be carried coz of liq limit. Also nobody assumes two flight cancellations to keep all your extra medicines with you that are used only during flare ups. Flare up happened coz of no wheelchair assistance and long walks I had to do.
#TravelTip
Always carry medicine, especially critical ones in carry-on/hand bags for the journey+ & never in check-in bags.
Only extra/back-up medicine may be carried in check-in bags for use at the destination.
After cancellations, put on a delayed LX 146 Zurich-Delhi flight (18 Aug). Reached Delhi but our luggage with critical meds wasn’t loaded! 48+ hrs without essentials. @airindia, where’s the accountability? We deserve compensation for this ordeal! #LostLuggage#AirIndia
Stranded in ZRH with expired visa, stuck in a transit hotel. @zrh_airport shut, no wheelchair or food provided, no access to my meds for Lupus, Sjogren’s, Fibromyalgia. My aged parents, who don’t speak English, suffered too. @airindia failed us #PassengerRights#TravelNightmare
Devastated after our Italy vacation turned into a nightmare with @airindia. Milan-Delhi flight cancelled (16 Aug), then Zurich-Delhi (17 Aug) due to engine issues. No wheelchair assistance, no food, no luggage with my Lupus meds. My family’s joy after spending lacs is gone.
Ordeal just doesn’t end.
Now that I made it to DEL, bags haven’t.
Was very clear that I need them loaded with me coz meds are in it, they weren’t loaded from Zurich. 48hrs already without my meds. Can someone please advise what authority do I take this entire 3day chaos with?
Boarded the Swiss LX146 to Delhi from Zurich. Another delayed flight and APU isn’t working, dying in suffocation. What is up with all the airlines or is it just my bad luck, three days in a row?
And Air India flight from Zurich to Delhi is cancelled: aborted moments before take-off- technical issue in engine cited. Yet another night of shitty experience
@airindia I need urgent help. I am stuck at ZRH due to flight cancellations and visa expiry. I am falling terribly sick coz of auto immune condition. I haven’t had food since 10hours & our luggage (my meds) isn’t with us. Airport is completely shut with no food or staff available
Here we go again! Trying to fly to Delhi yet again via Zurich on Air India. Flight is delayed by half hour already, do you think yesterday’s ordeal will be repeated?
