Adv Mihir Desai runs HRLN- SLIC NGO which is funded by German Catholic Church NGO Miserior which had legally defended 2020 Delhi Riot accused including rioters who killed Intelligence Bureau officer Ankit Sharma. Interestingly employee of Adv Mihir Desai's chamber Adv Navneet who is OCI card holder German citizen. Adv Navneet was present at hospital where dead body of deceased IIT Bombay student's parents and relatives were present and She was provoking his relatives to lodge Atrocities Act FIR against Prof Suryanarayana Doolla.

did my https://t.co/zANOEvvHvH at IIT Bombay and my PhD at IIT Delhi. I've been a professor for 14 years now. In 22 years of watching the IIT/IIIT system closely, I have never once witnessed a teacher discriminate against a student on the basis of caste.

During my https://t.co/zANOEvvHvH, most of us had no idea what caste our batchmates belonged to. Many of my close friends were SC/ST. We never discussed it. It never entered any conversation or decision. Not once. Our exposure to the humanities department was limited, though — the term "Brahmanical patriarchy" didn't even exist back then.

As a teacher, I don't ask a student's name before solving their doubt. Often I don't know their name at all — some of my classes have 300+ students. We treat them all the same. So does every colleague I know. So did every professor who taught me.

Social media has now filled vulnerable students' heads with a lot of manufactured grievance about caste discrimination that, in my experience, doesn't exist.

Sahil Wakode was a student of the Energy, Science and Engineering branch. The opening and closing ranks for this branch at IIT Bombay are around 1,800–2,600 for the open category.

With an SC certificate, the corresponding rank could be 10,000+. So either you are lying or presenting distorted information. He could not have had an AIR of 614 by any means.

As for his 8.5 CGPA, we all know he was caught cheating in an exam. There is no doubt that he was academically deficient. He got admission through reservation, couldn't cope with the pressure, and after being caught cheating, he died by suicide.

To bring social justice, let’s begin with having ultra super speciality hospitals for our dalit brothers and sisters where exclusively they’d be treated exclusively by Dalit doctors.
