I made my 1st Crore at 28.

Coming from a lower middle class family, this is really a dream come true for me!
I started my trading journey at the age of 21 (year 2016).

I was an engineering student back then, I got a drop after my second year due to insufficient marks in more than 4-5 subjects.

I read about Warren Buffet in a Marathi newspaper and that was the first time I got introduced to markets. I had one spare year, so I thought I would do a job related to stock market. Luckily I got a job in @AngelOne . It was a sales job, I used to call clients and open their demat accounts. The kind of training and knowledge about stock market Angel gave me acted as a kickstarter of my trading journey!

After that I worked with several stock brokers such as Tradebulls,Kunvarji, etc. And like every trading newbie I thought I have had enough knowledge to be an independent trader. I had already dropped out of my engineering to continue the job and in 2019 I left my job to pursue trading full-time(which was a mistake by the way).

Things were not going too smooth, I was still in the exploration zone. I was trying different strategies almost every month which wasn’t lucrative. Gradually I went into huge losses, took many personal loans and lost that money, borrowed some funds from friends, family and few clients. Lost it all again!

The main shift happened when I started ‘Option Selling’ in early 2020 I guess. I am not saying that Option selling is a holy grail. But it really helped me become more stable mentally as the MTM fluctuations were low as compared to option buying.

I was always an avid reader, I still am! One book that has changed me or made me a better trader was ‘Secrets of a pivot boss’ by Frank Ochoa. I read this book again and again. I always liked directional trading, this book helped me identify trending days and how to run your profits on such days! It was a masterstroke.

Things started changing, Now I run 2 systems. First is 0DTE(which I will have to replace because of the recent changes made by SEBI) and second one is Intraday Option Buying where I run my trades for 1:3 kind of profits. I have made 90% of my wealth in the last 2 years out of these 8 years in the market.

All I can say is Trading is really one of the toughest places to make easy money! The journey is not gonna be easy but absolutely worth it! After hitting that 1 Cr mark I have realised that it’s only an outset of something really big!
