Make a choice and move in that direction.
Without resistance or purpose.
You become a drifter.
You feel stuck when you are waiting for something external to tell you what to do.
Nothing stops you more than a belief that there’s a "right" way.
There isn’t.
A pattern I've noticed in stuck people:
They're always busy. They never stop moving. They have 47 tabs open and a notebook-sized to-do list. But if you ask them what they accomplished this week that actually matters, their mind goes blank.
Busyness isn't a badge of honor.
Demystify the 'right things' you should be doing.
To do that, you have to be really crystal clear.
The Pareto principle shows us that 20% of our actions lead to 80% of the results.
And those who are successful in business know how to put the right 20% first.
We’ve been taught to understand angles. Most of us learned it through shapes in school.
But when it comes to the angle someone else is coming from, we’re not as good at that.
While not everyone may see the same things... Seeing other angles helps you understand the view better.
We often mistake our perspective for truth, forgetting it is only one lens.
Shift the angle, and a new reality appears.
The question is not what reality is, but which angle you are choosing to see it from today.
Is life a game of experience?
Is it all really just a game? I woke up to this a little while ago. The world continues to flash on by. I got so sick with burnout that all I could do was be a passenger and no longer a driver. This caused a disruptive view https://t.co/8AOiKFlAEn
Milestone goals are useful markers along the way.
But it is the systems we create and the design of our lifestyle that determine whether we achieve them.
If you aren't around people who want to move.
You are around people who want to sit.
Sit on the decisions, actions or anything else that would challenge them to be better.
Keep on the next move.
Then keep moving.
The universe is coming in strong with this one.
As I sit down to write the pencil shares the same message as a student did just days before...
'Every day is a good day'.
It's hard to say every day is...
But while I am studying happiness at the moment and the role choice has in it...
This feels quite coincidental.
Nothing is ours forever.
.
.
.
Not even the body we live in.
The truth of impermanence asks us to release our grip and enjoy the voyage while we are here.
