Until you have kids, you'll never truly understand true, unconditional love. Your heart literally walking outside your chest. There's no love like it.🥹🥹
i hope motherhood gives me a thousand little memories i never want to outgrow. tiny voices calling me, little arms around my neck, drawings with my name on them and children who still want to sit beside me even when they’re older.
I don’t think people talk enough about how much of a blessing it is to grow up with a sober mother who didn’t drink, do drugs, party every weekend, or chase after men and have different ones coming in and out of my life. A mother who prioritized motherhood, structure, and stability. I plan to give my children that same peace and stability. ❤️
For a MARRIAGE to really work, you gotta understand this: You and your partner are TWO different people, with two different pasts, trying to build ONE future.
You didn't grow up the same, you won't always think the same, and that's okay. What matters is HOW you handle it. Communicate without turning everything into an argument. Listen even when you're frustrated. Stop keeping score and start choosing growth.
Because every disagreement shouldn't create distance. It should build understanding.
I don’t like a nigga family. Never will never did. My daughter dad been fucked that up for a nigga family. I know how that shit go 🤷🏽♀️ I DONT wanna be apart of no nigga family let’s start there. I GOT MY OWN & WE OVERLY LOCKED IN. I’m the baby besides my babies 🤏🏽
Sometimes people don't see the harm in their behavior because their circle normalizes it. That's the power of the environment; it shapes our perception of "normal."
When someone I trust hurts me, my brain doesn't just register the moment. It starts replaying every memory connected to them, questioning what was real and what wasn't. And that's the part that hurts the most. Not the action, but the sudden loss of certainty. Because nothing feels more destabilizing than realizing the place you felt safe might not have been safe at all.
Imagine disappointing me so much that I went from being my most talkative self to staying completely silent around you. Not because I ran out of words, but because I realized they no longer mattered. Sometimes silence isn't anger; it's acceptance.
Some disappointments change you mor than any apology ever could.
Funny how a man who supposedly "can't control his anger" can stay polite with his boss, patient with clients, and calm around his friends, then suddenly explode at his girlfriend?
That isn't losing control. It's choosing a target, which is why abuse is a choice.
Solo quiero convertirme en una mujer tranquila ante cualquier situación. Esa es mi mayor meta, la serenidad. Estoy cansada de la irritación, el enojo, la tristeza, la rabia y todo lo demás.
As a man or a woman, just hope and pray you never find yourself in a loveless marriage. Being with someone you no longer connect with, feeling lonely beside the very person you share your life with, can be emotionally exhausting. Marriage without love, peace, and mutual effort can be brutal.
my therapist said that many survivors of narcissistic abuse go quiet when they are struggling because they know they cannot rely on family and most friends.
