Last week I saw a 4 year old literally "find his listening ears" 5 times in one 20 mins lesson. For "conversations", I find Five Listening Rules are brilliant for all pupils - with every teacher in every lesson - to properly engage. Developing these skills need to go in IEPs! https://t.co/rAQ22xWqPN

I never really feel focused on having a #conversation with someone unless/until I've consciously adjusted my mental state so that I can engage. The environment, the time, what else I am doing, etc. are all very important factors in how meaningful our conversation will be. #autism
