The Israeli Knesset's approval of the so-called "Prisoners' Execution Law" today on March 30, 2026 is being met with fury. What has already been happening inside Israeli occupation jails long before any formal legislation: systematic torture, medical neglect, and killings carried out in cold blood by jailers and fanatic ministers, in full view of an international community that has chosen silence.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Club confirms that more than 100 Palestinians have already been killed in Israeli occupation captivity since October 7, 2023, while the Red Cross and major human rights organizations have done little to nothing. Now, with around 220 hostages facing imminent execution and 9,500–10,000 Palestinians held in Israeli jails, the law formalizes what has functionally been policy for two years. This comes as Al-Aqsa Mosque enters its second consecutive month of closure, famine continues across Gaza, the occupation presses on with its siege, and repeated violations of the ceasefire go unanswered. The question being asked is no longer about what the Israeli occupation is doing it is about how much longer the world intends to watch.
