We debuted at #3 on Apple iTunes back in 2016 for our first big film.
Proud to announce our latest feature-length documentary is out now on Apple TV. Big topic.
It's deeper than most know. Give it a shot.
Everybody's talking about nicotine. Some have no idea.
Kickstarted publicly, our award-winning team went around the world to get the true story. You be the judge.
The wait is over. Out now on Apple TV & other platforms.
Interesting read:
“Something Feels Different About the Economy”
Human brains were not meant to think about trillions of dollars.
https://t.co/A8eC0iAh2n
@GrimmGreen Absurd. Feels like a strategic distraction from bigger issues. Literally laughed out loud during Pam's talk. Pandering to military supporters now. That's new.
Patriots should ban all nicotine products that aren't cigarettes or ineffective at helping people quit? 🇺🇸
@nynz67 Might just be people aren't going deep very much anymore. More reactionary stuff (us vs. them).
Plus, the algorithms tend to favor stuff like that for user feeds.
I used to have a lot of deep convos on Twitter. Most of my work over the past 15 years has almost exclusively originated here. It was always the best for connecting.
Lately, I find when I post different topics looking for discussion...crickets. Perhaps it's my regular shifting between topics (harm reduction, Web3 tech revolution, AI, health, Milwaukee, & spirituality) or maybe its something else?
Thoughts?
IMO, there's a lot of broken stuff in the world, but improvements will only happen if we grow together. Trying to find a discussion platform for growing together.
@jabrilyousef Yeah, I think there will always be a need for human stuff. I just wonder what capacty there will be for supporting it financially (buying art, books, etc.). By comparison, it will be quite expensive similar to how paintings are more expensive than photography.
@KnowNicotine Worth noting, this isn't a new issue.
It is the history of humans. With digital communications & social media algorithms, it's simply faster/wider/stronger now.
@esopter0@GrimmGreen Yeah, since nicotine has anti-inflammatory properties...it has potential to treat the long-term inflammatory issues related to some form of long COVID.
🚨Spoiler Alert!🚨
Our movie wasn't about smoking at all. It was about improving brain health & what serious scientists at world-class universities were finding.
It was about love for our communities, the need for truth, & who is holding back vital information that could affect 2 billion people.
Don't be afraid of the word "nicotine." Seek the information. We simply packaged it all together into 90 minutes for you.
I sincerely hope it helps.
There's a LOT more to the nicotine discussion besides just quitting smoking. It's mainly about improving brain health...
It's great to see communities coming together to find answers to big problems like Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, & other neurological diseases.
One 20,000 member Parkinson's community is discussing You Don't Know Nicotine right now!
https://t.co/VU9m4d3ysJ
There's a lot of evidence showing people who smoke cigarettes get Parkinson's less (Google it). Smoking is bad for health, but what if people used clean nicotine instead? There's a lot to discover yet, but honest/open discussion is the starting point.
@KnowNicotine We had some amazing times together. Some victories. Many defeats. The war for better health isn't over though, we're still in the middle.
How we go forward is often foggy, but it's always a good idea to go together.
