The Curious Case of the Barrister, the Bomb, the Museum and MI5

This story raises more questions the deeper you look.

A 25 year old trainee barrister spends two years in war-torn Syria, comes home, then is allegedly caught transporting a Semtex car bomb complete with a detonator and timer.

We’re told she didn’t know what she was carrying.

She gets bail.

We’re also told MI5 and Special Branch knew about the alleged bomb plot for two months. If that’s true, why was a live device allowed to be collected in Phoenix Park and transported up the N2 through public roads before the car was finally stopped at a petrol station in Carrickmacross?

Then there’s the second arrest.

Simon O’Donovan appears before Ireland’s three-judge, non-jury Special Criminal Court and is refused bail. Prosecutors allege explosives were stored at Collins Barracks……a government-owned museum where he worked.

So which is it?

Was this such a serious national security threat that it required the Special Criminal Court or was is something worthy of granting bail?

The official line is that the intended target was a police officer in Derry.

Maybe it was.

But given the current political tensions, the growing split within republicanism and the fact that intelligence agencies reportedly knew about the operation well in advance, it’s understandable that people are asking whether the public is being told the full story.

Questioning an official narrative isn’t extremism. It’s what people do when the facts presented raise more questions than they answer.

“protects the space for faith within the multi-faith nation.”

THE faith (Christianity) replaced with THE Multi-faith.

For 500 years the monarch has been Defender of THE Faith under a constitutional foundation of Christianity.

22 YEARS LATER AND NOBODY HAS ANSWERED FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO DR DAVID KELLY

His name was Dr David Kelly. Most people have forgotten him. They shouldn't.

He was a quiet, mild-mannered scientist who spent his career inspecting weapons facilities around the world.

He knew more about Iraq's arsenal than almost anyone alive.

In 2003, Tony Blair's @InstituteGC government published a dossier claiming Saddam Hussein could deploy chemical weapons within 45 minutes. That claim was used to justify a war.

Kelly knew the intelligence behind it was being exaggerated. He said so, privately, to a @BBCNews journalist.

That one conversation destroyed his life.

The government found out he was the source. Instead of protecting a man who had served his country for decades, they quietly let his name reach the press. He was publicly identified, dragged before two parliamentary committees, and grilled by his own employer.

His wife said he came home a broken man.

On the afternoon of 17 July 2003, he left his house for a walk in the Oxfordshire countryside. He was 59 years old. He never came back.

His body was found the next morning in woodland. A knife beside him. A blister pack of painkillers nearby.

Here is where it gets worse.

Tony Blair personally intervened to replace the normal coroner's inquest with a private inquiry run by Lord Hutton.

The original inquest was suspended before it even properly began. It was never resumed. To this day,

Dr David Kelly is the only person in England and Wales in living memory to have died in unexplained circumstances without receiving a full coroner's inquest.

Lord Hutton concluded suicide. Case closed.

Except eight senior doctors and a former coroner wrote to @thetimes saying the verdict was medically unsafe.

The wound found on Kelly's wrist, a severed ulnar artery, would not cause fatal blood loss in a healthy person.

There were no fingerprints on the knife. The painkillers found were not in a quantity that experts considered lethal.

The government's response, delivered by Attorney General Dominic Grieve in 2011, was essentially: the Hutton Inquiry was good enough, stop asking questions.

Think about that. A man quietly raised concerns about the biggest political deception in modern British history, a war that led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. He was publicly exposed, professionally destroyed, and found dead days later and the government personally made sure there would never be a proper independent investigation into how he died.

Tony Blair went on to become a Middle East Peace Envoy. He has a knighthood.

Dr David Kelly got a private inquiry, a rushed verdict, and a sealed post-mortem report that was not released to the public for years.

Nobody was ever held accountable. Not for any of it.

Schoolteacher Enoch Burke has spent almost 700 days in prison after refusing to use ‘they/them’ pronouns for a child.

Hildegarde Naughton is the Fine Gael Minister for Education. She was protected from questioning when approached in Galway City last night.

Hildegarde Naughton deceived Enoch Burke into sitting in front of Claire Callanan as Chair of the Disciplinary Appeal Panel which was to hear Enoch Burke’s appeal.

The Chair is required to be independent, however Callanan is married to Lyndon McCann SC, the chief legal adviser to the Church of Ireland, and is herself an employee of the Church of Ireland. In no way was Claire Callanan an ‘independent’ Chair.

Claire Callanan was appointed to this role by Hildegarde Naughton, the Minister for Education. This was an act of gross deception.

This is a very serious day when the Fine Gael Minister for Education can deceive a young teacher by making him sit in front of a chair who is neither independent nor impartial and then refuse to answer questions when asked.

They will decide where you go, who you see, what and when you eat, how much electricity you use, whether you can use the Internet and social media, what payments you get and in what form (CBDCs and Carbon credits). The only free cheese is in a mousetrap.

People are arrested over social media posts.

Police increasingly police speech while violent criminals walk free.

And now the government is reportedly deciding which opinions are “conducive to the public good.”

That is not free speech.

That is state-approved speech.

Before all this, J. D. Vance warned Europe, including the UK, about drifting toward censorship and authoritarianism.

Looks like he was right.

A country that cannot stop illegal immigration but CAN stop political speech is heading somewhere very dangerous.

1. The Labour government confirmed it will remove the right to a jury trial. Cases will be tried by a judge alone.

2. The Labour gvt confirmed it will impose Digital ID despite it never being included in Labour's manifesto and nearly 3 million Brits signing a petition against it.

3. The Labour gvt confirmed we will "align" with the European Union, directly going against the 2016 democratic vote for Brexit & forcing the British people to pay billions for laws they'll never be able to influence.

4. The Labour gvt confirmed that while Islamist sympathisers & antisemites are free to march on the streets of our capital city, & while it welcomes former allies of al-Qaeda into Downing Street, it has banned conservative activists from joining a peaceful protest against mass immigration in London.

Put all these things together and you get a sense - just a sense - of how hideously authoritarian and illiberal this Labour government really is.
