@RLHeinrichs The deindustrialization of America was principally the result of technological advancement. Since the Cold War, the US economy has created enormous wealth for Americans and our economy has grown to be the envy of the world.
Thanks for your critique, Janet. We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC weren’t happy. Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasn’t happy.
One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure; Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what??
The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasn’t meant for you.
Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel!
@sbabmarks is extremely knowledgeable about M&A and has specialized knowledge in the area of SBA funding. The post below is an illuminating, if tragic, story of what can go wrong and should be read carefully by buyers and sellers alike.
WSS: When you buy a business, the riskier the transaction, the better it often appears on paper.
However, unexpected events can and do happen!
This week’s WSS is a cautionary tale (a sad one), but it’s a story every new business buyer should consider and prepare for. 👇
