@ryanghensley Just wondering on what you base this opinion. Not saying it is wrong, but I’m just not aware of much that would support it.
I would have loved to have seen Lance succeed. But Purdy needed no such extended opportunity or coddling to succeed.
@DoctorVive There it is again: “deconstruct the administrative state.” They mean “destroy.” They want to sound smart but they are dumb. They use a philosophical term they don’t understand to mask their nihilism. They’re just dumb arsonist who want to burn it all down for short-term profit.
@baseballcrank If you ever find yourself making a baldly bad faith criticism of AW in public, in which you falsely pretend that politicians cannot use their official positions to aid after-the-fact the commission of a felony, rethink your life choices, and especially the choice to criticize AW.
This is what responsible, good-faith scientists and experts are up against — bad-faith grifters willing to do anything to further their disinformation campaigns. We should all be grateful to people like Laxton who are willing and able to call them out.
McCullough et al attempted upload a preprint to the Lancet server, and it was removed because it was hot garbage. However, I feel going through this paper for you guys will help you spot dodgy science 🧵:
@baseballcrank If you’re defending the stolen seat, you don’t believe in norms at all, just in winning for your side. And you can't blame others for noticing that.
@RachelBitecofer Strongly suspect that most of the $10k in forgiveness would have gone to pay off very high interest charged by banks to make money, not the underlying principal used to pay for education.
