@PhilipBurton2@dharvey4 That's a fair assessment to be honest. In the PL promoted teams will always go on long losing streaks. Yours was a tough start. Couple of wins and you'll be fine. I'm not gloating I want all the promoted teams to do well and give hope to all the EFL teams that it can be done.
@Uzzell01 Unbelievable to be honest. The start to 2008/09 was amazing but the gap in finances now between PL & EFL is ridiculous but City showing that it's a team game and if you have team spirit and graft for each other you can overcome all the odds. The manager is magnificent
@ShackHullreal I made a scrap book of the 2008/09 season even though I was 50. I went to see Barcelona play with some friends on the same weekend that City won at Spurs and I have a newspaper clipping from a Spanish paper headed "los magnificos tigres" or something like that. It's in the attic
@SakSpeaksHQ No need to wet your pants. I can’t see Joe batting after the Ashes next year so Sachin's record will not be broken. Very poor summer for Joe. Started so well in the one day series but just hasn't looked himself in either of the test series. Such a shame as he is a joy to watch
@LukeDJacks I can't really see getting anything but football is a funny old game. We did draw 0-0 once at Stamford Bridge so you never know. Just don't want us getting hammered and then social media being full of know nowts saying we'll only get 7 points all season
@Uzzell01 Totally agree John. So easy to get carried away with the hype, enjoyable though. Not going to be easy for Sergej with all the new players. Realistically we will go on some bad runs but if we can get a few more wins before Christmas it will ease the pressure 2nd half of the season
@MarkSadler66075@KristianDuce@ECB_cricket@Edgbaston That sounds great. Do you go for the full 5 days? I wish we could do something like that but I can't justify the cost. Have to keep doing the lottery. I do love the atmosphere at test matches even if it is a slow day. Relaxing and spending time with my sons.
