@higginscartoons Usually a Berni Inn... by the early 80s they'd moved with the times, a little... even had taramasalata as a starter. Good old fruit juice still there though.
@flicksandtricks@jonoblain Well the county championship has concluded at the end of September long before The Hundred was introduced. And in 2019 the last test of the summer finished on September 15th. Absolutely mental indeed. Let's just make shit up to support our dislike for The Hundred shall we.
@BigBilly19872@KristianDuce@ECB_cricket@Edgbaston We usually do the first 4. Next year we re doing days 2, 3 & 4 and have a hotel for five days. We normally stay in a straight up room only hotel but have gone full country house hotel & spa this time. Reaching that time of life when we need a bit more us time and less work time.
@BigBilly19872@KristianDuce@ECB_cricket@Edgbaston Know your pain. My wife and I live in Norwich so have a county membership and a three+ hour journey each way. Add on hotel costs and it's certainly expensive. Never regret it though - we absolutely love it. It's our equivalent of a mini-break I suppose.
@KristianDuce@ECB_cricket@Edgbaston People gladly pay ยฃ85 for 90 minutes of Bon Jovi (and that is cheap for a concert) yet bulk at 7.5 hours cricket for ยฃ30 more. And all the Ashes tests sell out - guaranteed. How much are you paying for your Sky susbcriptions or TNT subscription for the overseas Test matches.
@tufnellsbr38873@thebedfordfox Aren't they just! Dull as the dullest thing in Dullsville. They got rid of Gower because he could turn paint solid by talking to it and my fear is that they will turn Stuart Broad the same way. And Morgan is becoming the cricket equivalent of shouty shearer.
@NOD134@Only9built Haha. As I, and anyone else who has ever done a speed awareness course will tell you... a dual "carriageway" is any road that has a central divider... number of lanes is irrelevant.
