We normally stay in a straight up room only hotel but have gone full country house hotel & spa this time. Reaching that time of life when we need a bit more us time and less work time.

@BigBilly19872 @KristianDuce @ECB_cricket @Edgbaston Know your pain. My wife and I live in Norwich so have a county membership and a three+ hour journey each way. Add on hotel costs and it's certainly expensive. Never regret it though - we absolutely love it. It's our equivalent of a mini-break I suppose.

And all the Ashes tests sell out - guaranteed. How much are you paying for your Sky susbcriptions or TNT subscription for the overseas Test matches.
