@BigAxeEnergy "The operation was proceeding as planned. It was working.
Nobody could have predicted that /thing/ from the depths."
Darius' expression turns increasingly stormy. The man is angry, far angrier than his features betray.
@BigAxeEnergy "We lost good men and women," Darius says, frowning - always frowning, "I will have to explain to their families that they were lost to a sea monster. The ocean itself opened its maw and with a construct larger than the Leviathan itself, dragged them down."
@BigAxeEnergy Darius takes his usual seat and takes his drink. He doesn't drink from it right away, considering his dark reflection in the glass.
"A sea monster attacked."
@BigAxeEnergy Darius watches Draven. He is diffused slightly by either something Draven says, or the bottle he selects.
Darius finally speaks, "A target on your back is already target on mine. You should know this."
@BigAxeEnergy Darius does not look happy. The paper, the indignation, and then the question are responded to with a slight stiffening of Darius' expression.
His jaw set, his gaze narrowed, his stance tall.
He doesn't say anything yet.
@BigAxeEnergy Darius grabs a bottle of something strong, dark, and Noxian. He takes two glasses too.
"We take back the Leviathan. We crush the pirate."
@BigAxeEnergy Darius rubs his chin. Stubble scratches at the palm of his hand. He hadn't really slept the last few days between meeting with the Trifarix and military leaders.
"This man wants more than getting even. Not just revenge, a show of power. Overwhelming power. Humiliation." -
