@KentaBarrett@CamDivinity Denying him academic legitimacy is a great shame as in my view he contributes meaningfully to academic discourse. I also don't accept the labelling of him as intolerant. We're inevitably going to disagree on these two points, but at least we've made our positions clear
@KentaBarrett@CamDivinity My understanding is that he was invited, but then the invitation was overturned for unclear reasons, with the student union ironically citing a policy of inclusion. When I was at UCL and my activities were threatened by anonymous accusations, the union defended & protected me
@KentaBarrett@CamDivinity Charles Manson wasn't a populist, but it's a poor comparison for other reasons. I go out of my way to read books with which I disagree, to sharpen my understanding of things, so in more reasonable cases I would invite people whose views I consider with contempt to visit and teach
@neill_bob if there's a vote for a no deal Brexit on 13th March, on behalf of this constituent, I implore you to support it. You have my explicit consent!
Looking forward to welcoming 135 couples to The Marriage Preparation Course tomorrow evening. These 5 evenings focusing on their relationship could turn out to be the most important of their lives. #TMPC#MarriageCourse@htbbchurch
Shouting out my husband, who has fed the hungry, prayed for the sick and spent hours walking various church members through grace to unity this week. He's not social-media famous. He's just doing the stuff, unrecognized. It's an honor to be linked with him #faithworks
"For with much #wisdom comes much #sorrow; the more #knowledge, the more #grief."

This verse is a #comforting confirmation of something I've realised in the last few days
My children #Downsyndrome do not live because I failed to abort them. They live because I did not wish to partake in a sorting culture and therefore refused my body and pregnancy to be used for the purpose of eugenic abortion. #WomensRights https://t.co/putLOwlDc4
@neill_bob This constituent disagrees. The most vulnerable will be put at risk (e.g. health or financial setbacks), faithful spouses will be punished, and an extra 10,000 (otherwise salvageable) marriages will be lost per year. No-fault divorce already accessible after 2 years. Why change?
@neill_bob what's your position on 'no-fault divorce'? Con MP Suella Fernandes led a Westminster Hall debate last week on the topic. Divorce would become an administrative process that could not be defended in court by the abandoned party. Agree or disagree?
