Together with The British High Commission South Africa, BII hosted a reception at the British High Commissioner's Residence in Cape Town. It was a pleasure to gather likeminded people to connect and take part in some insightful conversations. Here are some pictures from the reception, where speakers including our CEO Leslie Maasdorp, our Chair Diana Layfield, Antony Phillipson UK High Commissioner to South Africa and Tomi Amosun Managing Partner at Summit Africa Fund, took to podium to share their thoughts.

@TfL me again. The Mattson Rd southbound bus stop on Green Lanes N4 has a closed sign on it from work completed yesterday. No need for it to be shut. Inconveniencing loads of people. Sort it out.
@TfL please ask your drivers at #gospeloak on the Goblin line to change over quicker. Currently sat on a train outside the station cos there's no platform for us. Our driver says it's because drivers switching ok train in platform. I have somewhere to be.
Last night we were thrilled to be joined by many of our partners - without whom we simply wouldn’t be able to make a difference - for an event to mark our 75th anniversary.
A huge thank you to @AndrewmitchMP for hosting the event for us at the FCDO’s beautiful Lancaster House.
We're thrilled to announce the next exhibition in our taproom! North London based abstract photographer Stuart Cashmore will be showing his works from 9 November until the end of the year and 20% of any sale proceeds will go to Crisis UK. #Walthamstow @ScaphoPhoto
