@GeorgeRoush Infrastructure spending died with Eisenhower. You turned Reagan into the political hero that Ike was.
Ike founded NASA as a civilian entity.
The blueprint is there. But it requires higher taxes, government spending, and political leadership willing to work the middle.
@clectorapp@MySportsUpdate@T_Armstead72@nick_underhill Blanket sales are a rough metric to use. More 1/1s etc.
And I wasnt referring to amount of cards, i was referring to print run.
But it seems like you get the idea.
@diegrueneKatze @WampumMining @marcportermagee Pretty sure Ike was like the Commie's #1 enemy in the 1950s? Prob did more to account for the fall of the USSR than any American leader?
@ThatchEffendi It's always funny when the right choose these fringe executives to inflate into "great men."
The GOP once had Lincoln and Eisenhower. Two of the consensus top 4-5 actual presidents.
But they both advanced civil rights so...

@BarryBarry37807@MrsCMFrancis@JoshDaws The marketing costs for rereleases are generally light, so the profit margins are decent.
But they don't make sense for the summer.
October/February tend to make more sense.
Even then it's niche programming. They'd rather you get Disney+ and bigger TV.
@MrsCMFrancis@JoshDaws Because summer is a competitive time at the movies and they want you to own Disney+.
Minions/Toy Story are heavy competition for older films.
They'd rather you see the new thing they invested millions in, and subscribe to Disney+.
@EpcotEnthusiast If Walt saw a bunch of hill creatures with tattoos on their legs shouting during the Haunted Mansion pre-show and 15 motorized vehicles manned by grouch fat ladies in the Hall of Presidents lobby I don't think he'd say "this was the vision boys"
@EpcotEnthusiast If Walt saw the degenerate trash that migrated to Central Florida in the past 60 years he would have been appalled.
Citing Walt cuts both ways.
Nobody wants to vacation with a bunch of entitled "locals" who think they own the park and have the manners of a wet skunk.
@disneyglimpses@EpcotEnthusiast I frequent both coasts. DVC Home resort Grand Californian.
So we get surveys all of the time.
Same answer every time: In California the locals hogging up the lobby don't both other us.
In Florida? Filthy hillbillies.
In California - polite.
In Florida? Neanderthals/hookers.
@HeyHeyItsConrad@gregbianco87@EBischoff But you can't give a platform to someone with so much hate for something we love, something that helped give us starcast and all of that to begin with, and not expect us to feel marginalized by you sometimes.
Your shows are produced, dude. It's not an open mic.
@HeyHeyItsConrad@gregbianco87@EBischoff You have every right to monetize Bischoff's narcissism. But he exhausted your goodwill with a lot of fans.
He's not constructive.
Because of that a lot of us stopped listening to you. including myself who was an avid listener/starcast attendee/saw Bruce live 3x.
Better days.
@SirBrayden@JudyWinslow_fm It's definitely not the lifeguards job to police entrace to pool premise.
Their job is to watch what is going on in the water.
Disneyland resorts and most WDW Deluxe usually make you check in and give you a bracelet to enter.
@That1Passholder@Skipper_Hoss Eisner envisioned a WDW built on repeat family vacations.
Josh inherits a WDW with a massive CenFlo population that Eisner didn't have to manage.
WDW guest satisfaction has been down in certain areas.
WDW wants to restore premium family vacation vibe.
@That1Passholder@Skipper_Hoss Close.
Very close.
They want maximum guest satisfaction for the family spending 5 figures. Logic being they do that 2-5x more during the next decade.
Repeat, high value, vacationing customers.
@dgrs_twrd_truth 30K total or per week? Where are you getting these figures?
First of all that's chump change either way.
Second of all it costs more than 30k to construct.
Maybe they'll move the concept to Springs or a park.
@BrerOswald Yeah, that's not a bad thing.
Most APs have cars and parking passes. They can still resort hop to their hearts desire.
This will stop no one with the honest intention of visiting a hotel from visiting a hotel.
