My cat Maxwell and I created a rather unconventional artwork yesterday. He had been biting holes in a scrap of paper, so I decided to tear it into pieces to highlight his little teeth marks and arrange the pieces on some cardboard.

Sometimes I’ll see a cute video of a kitten on TikTok and then suddenly I remember “Aha! A cat! I have one of those!” And then I go find Maxwell and dote on him…And take his picture. We’ve had this guy for 18 years, but the delight never gets old. Happy #InternationalCatDay!
