@BBCScrumV The weekend highlights why Wales needs to go down to three teams. Not enough quality pros to service four teams or coaches. Why haven't any of the regions got a head coach the calibre of Lancaster? Who was the last one of that standard coaching a Welsh region?!
@ITVWales I'm not opposed to the plan of going down to three teams but the way it's been handled has felt very underhand. The lack of communication has been extremely poor and ultimately, I think he's made the right decision.
@PlanetRugby Embarrassing. France has absolutely outclassed Ireland the last two matches they've played each other and are back to back Six Nations champions.
@bensmithrugby Best for excitement perhaps but certainly not based on quality. Bemused how Ireland were only a few seconds away from winning it given how ordinary they've been for much of SN.
@DjmComments If Ireland are content with this year's six nations then standards must be as low as they were in the 90's. Ireland are in a really tough spot where they've got 8-10 generational players that are ageing out at the same time and not exactly a raft of players ready to replace them
@andyhowellsport@Federugby@URCOfficial@premrugby Healey has a point. There is a monumental gulf between the two nations in terms of resources i.e amount of players, amount of professional teams, money etc that they shouldn't lose to them let alone in the way that they did.
@gallagherbren58 Countless examples across rugby where competitions have been meddled in to the detriment of the game. I'm all for growth but the SN delivers as it is. I wouldn't even want SA joining as what happens to the rugby championship then?
@rugbyexpansion It also shows the importance of not meddling with a competition that is delivering. Super rugby & Tri Nations is a prime example of this.
@littlelove_farm@WalesRugby@grok I personally quite like that from Dupont. Why should he shake White's hand after he's been goading him and shouting in his face during the match? Respect is mutual.
@thehonestnick The usual suspects i.e France, England, AB's will be there. History has shown that results in between WC's count for little. Aussie's have shown that if they're best 23 are available they can be excellent and with home advantage I can see them reaching final.
@BBCScrumV Ireland were good but Wales certainly helped them along the way. You feel there's a really good side there but a lack of accuracy and precision undermined them.
@ITVRugby It's definitely up there as being one of the most exciting but in terms of quality despite there being some excellent games it's not been great at times. We've seen some underwhelming and one sided games.
@PlanetRugby Whoever starts at 10 was irrelevant. There is a clear gulf in class between Ireland and France and Ireland were never going to beat France in Paris so to start talking about a missed opportunity to win a grand slam is ridiculous.
@BBCSportWales Some definite optimism building and with some quality U'18 & U'20 to coming through post WC 2027 we should be in really decent shape.
@ITVRugby For Wales something to hang your hat on but for Ireland? You get the sense that they are ending a successful cycle and are starting a new one where they will struggle. 8-10 players over the next 12-18 months will age out and there's not much quality coming in to replace them.
@PlanetRugby What happened with Super Rugby is a reflection of how rugby has stumbled over the years. It was the premier domestic competition but they chopped and changed and it is nowhere near the same allure it once was.
