@FightHaven I think at these ages I'm going 80/20 Tyson. At 22 Lesnar has an even bigger weight/strength advantage and is at his peak as a national champion heavyweight wrestler, I'd probably go 60/40 Lesnar at that point.
@babyfleg@DrewGarrison@birkofer24 I would make a strong argument for Steve McNair too. You're telling me that if Burrow never played another down his 49 game NFL career is better than McNairs 171 game career? I would have to disagree.
@mary_rysdale@MuellerSheWrote 100% correct. Every person that serves in the military and is discharged on good terms deserves respect and gratitude for their service. Doesn't matter if they were a cook or a general. But once you start lying about your role it becomes stolen valor.
@RGT_Thoughts After they took out or starting QB and our back up QB playee the whole 2nd half injured and the refs absolutely screwed UT out of a safety.
@izach120@CooLMeeGz@NFL@_TJWatt@JJWatt@thepivot Reggie also had a 3 year stretch where he went 18-21-18 in sacks, nobody's ever had more in 3 seasons and he got the 21 sacks in 12 games in 1987. 21 sacks in 12 games.
@izach120@CooLMeeGz@NFL@_TJWatt@JJWatt@thepivot JJs best 3 seasons are probably better than anyone's, but when you look at their whole careers it's not close. JJ has been all pro 6 times in 11 years and will probably never make it again. AD all pro 7 times in 8 seasons, will add to that. Reggie all pro 13 times in 16 seasons.
@HumbleOnion7 @CooLMeeGz@NFL@_TJWatt@JJWatt@thepivot I think you're right about that, I think JJs best 3 seasons are better than Donald's best 3 seasons. Donald's career overall is better though and he's still playing at an elite level.
@RadiantErick Ya he an awesome 4 year stretch. His injuries are unfortunate but they still exist. He's had 5 years of double digit sacks. Reggie White started his career with 9 straight 10+ sack seasons and had 12 overall. He's got 2 DPOY awards and a super bowl ring.
@ESPNLisle@CooLMeeGz@NFL@_TJWatt@JJWatt@thepivot Definitely splitting hairs between those two guys. LT had a knack for the strip sack, White has slightly higher sacks per game. White started his career with 9 straight 10+ sack seasons, no other NFL player has done that. If White didn't play in USFL he'd be all time sack leader.
@Not47Buddz@CooLMeeGz@NFL@_TJWatt@JJWatt@thepivot When I'm talking about putting guys in tiers I'm looking at their entire careers obviously, it doesn't make sense to not look at their entire careers. Watt was elite for 4 or 5 seasons, guys like White and Bruce Smith were elite for 10-12 years.
