@SilversRef Putting Geyer at Hooker and Woolford at 13 would be a start. Why take a talented kid on loan and not play him, we'd have him back in a heartbeat at Oldham.
@Pete_Owlsfan@Doncaster_RLFC Same for both sides.we played off a 5 day turnaround from Barrow had availability issues and fans unable to come Maybe the previous owners making and short notice but the reason you lost is Gebbie aside,Oldham had you're number.Maybe the rematch at the Ecopower will be different
@StuViking@M_Shaw1 This kid is stuck between a rock and a hard place, Too good for the Championship, a bit raw for Super League, but he could be anything with some good coaching. His move to York next year is a good one with Applegarth.
@savagesteph82 Absolutely the most stupid thing i've seen on Twitter in a long time...You should try supporting Salford, Featherstone, Halifax. I'm an Oldham Fan we've never been to Wembley. These things go in cycles. Peet is a good man. Grow up.
Glass Ceiling broken, for @TaraJ_TJ no dramas, no controversy. It will be the same, next week, and the week after...and thats when the game has cracked it. When Tara is just "a ref" looking after "a game".
The best role model for our kids.
@johnnyddavidson 8 teams + London could breakaway now quite easily....eitherway Championships future only exists on being a feeder league for the top flight like York/Newcastle currently. Tradition is suffocating the game, time to be brave to save it.
@Mike7Ford Thank You Mike for giving the people of Oldham their club back and some brighter days. It's a tragedy you have had to walk away from a thing you clearly love ♥️🤍♥️🤍
1st Away game of season and a trip @LondonBroncosRL to watch the mighty @Roughyeds
Proud of our boys
Lads ripped in and gave it everything against superior full time opposition. Campbell Gillard was a class apart.
Props to the London people for their hospitality and banter.
@GavWilson Newcastle 1.Full Time. 2. York A Team getting prep. 3. Have the easiest fixtures based on 2025. Will easy be top 10 with minimum 9 or 10 wins + out of 26. Agree with Gav.
@GavWilson It's simple the RFL don't want another Salford. Fev currently can't pay existing liabilities and are struggling for investment and couldnt put the bond for the season down. New Salford could pay the bond and new investment is there. Its sad but Oldham in 97 shows you can comeback
@21luckyforsome He leaves with our best wishes at Oldham, he was heartbroken to leave in the 1st place. It's right he goes home. Good honourable loyal man. Can't wait for 16th January.
@cwrobinson_@SalfordJud@fireyred49 300 is harsh, we had the best away following in the Championship last year, I get your point but it's a derby and we want to see Salford thriving again, don't be surprised if over 800 rock up...Would be awesome to see 5-6000 on that opening night and Salford make it to Game 1
@loverugbyleague London from a Roughyed...we might catch them cold 2nd game but the fixture list has been very very kind to them.....Goole, NWC, Midlands, thats 12 big points there.
@johnnyddavidson The consistent issue with the Fev sacking is not his ability, but his personality of rubbing folk the wrong way, fell out with so many at Oldham and this was probably the main reason. Hopefully a SL club will pick him up as a defence coach because he's superb at that.
@johnnyddavidson We thought he'd gone at half time in the playoff loss to Halifax, but this was coming, clash of personalities and in truth team essentially flat track bullies, We got found out against most of the top 6 last year. Right decision abeit sad as good times are back.
@BethhDerbyshire London should win 26/26 with 10 full time NRL aussies. As an Oldham fan we will see, Longs tactics make us flat track bullies...aside from catching York cold game 1. The top 6 all put us away. See who comes in then take it from there.
