@bigbosstroy@NFL@KirkHerbstreit That’s what an option is about, the edge is suppose to be free and have to make a decision , qb hands or keeps it based on their decision. Watt played both options.
@jack_sperry Nah on this third down I’m going muth, he’s more sure handed just got to give him a better ball. The Roman throw would likely be less successful cause he’s not a consistent catcher yet and isn’t college open here
@ovodds@Imeli692 Wilson is the best separator on the team and that’s desperately needed when looking at the rest of the room. Gertie will make tough catches and be a good YAC guy.
@Alex_Kozora Can’t give him that workload every week. His play style gasses him too much. That O line needs to build consistency and both him and Rico can eat. That said, they should have always targeted him more coming out the bf on checkdowns.
@ASaunders_PGH He won’t last at that clip. He’s one of my favourite all time Steelers but he plays so hard he’s often visibly gassed and takes dings. Rico needs to step up when he’s back. The o line will make them both better going forward
@NealCoolong@MBM872003 Analysts are wrong all the time. They didn’t even watch the all 22.
People are already posting the separation chart but here’s something else
Rodgers last year aDOT-6 yards (lowest of career)
aDOT Sunday - 10.5 yards. If you can’t see the advantage of that I can’t help ya.
@ASaunders_PGH Just because a scheme has the same number of down lineman and linebackers, doesn’t mean they can’t be worlds apart in philosophy and results.
@MrNoFollowers2 Organizations that don’t develop talent well
Front offices that don’t have good long term visions
High coaching turnover that don’t allow systems to be installed properly
Poor team culture spanning decades
The list goes on as to why the Steelers are not those teams.
@MrNoFollowers2 It doesn’t magically get you great players, but it gives you a much better chance at them picking in the top 10 than in the 20’s.
The last time they had a losing season they drafted the QB that won them two super bowls.
