@NBA2KLab i understand it takes time to learn how to spam dribble but now it takes more skill to steal the ball from a spam dribbler, then mix in a 90+ brick wall strength. Offense is OP again
@LogoLarry1221 because the offensive community. if someone worked hard to to learn dribble combos and have a 99 3pt. they want to be unstoppable. all the defensive community wants is *to be able* to stop them lol.
@EarvGotti242 imagine a good steal attempt not poking the ball loose and now you’re stuck in mud because you attempted a steal at all. rewards dribblers by not letting you get steal and slowing your movement
@EarvGotti242 I have a 94 steal and can’t get a steal on someone who has an 86 handle. they stopped spamming by having you slowing your movement after a steal attempt. Cool if they reward good steal attempts.
Everyone who cried about steals, typically dribbled at least 12 secs of the shot clock and doesnt play defense. easy solutions was to get off the ball and reset. #nba2k27 now offense is op and defense takes a hit
For a brief moment, 2k27 was enjoyable. All the cheesers and spammers threw tantrums and went back to 2k17. For once, you could play a Rec game without falling asleep watching people dribble and chuck up threes at an 80% success rate. The game didn’t reward that anymore. We got to see the cheesers’ brains rip in half trying to figure out how to actually play basketball. It was beautiful. The right people were happy with the game, and the right people were disgruntled with the game. It was creating a perfect balance.
So of course 2k took this positive course correction even further, right? No. They caved to the vocal minority of crybabies on social media because all 2k cares about is money. They can’t go through a rough patch of bad PR from the annoying ass game critics on YouTube. So we’re right back to square one. Right back to every game being a boring ass three point contest. Right back to watching one player spam dribble for the whole shot clock while nobody can steal the ball from him.
2k is spineless and a shell of what it once was. They basically have a monopoly on NBA basketball gaming, so they just go for positive PR and jack up VC transactions because basketball fans have nowhere to turn to. 2k does not deserve the money they’re making and they’re only living off the success of the past developers that actually beat out NBA Live in the late 2000’s. We need a true basketball gaming competitor. 2k is just taking advantage of us.
@COKEBUTTACH33@mikepeckerson they could have adjusted dunks and it would’ve been cool. but to nerf steals so that spam dribblers are happy is crazy. every year the game is balanced until the first patch
@supremelywashed@TheRealRob252@LadyGoBrazy lol 2k is simulation basketball, green window and visual cues. obvi steph doesn’t have a green window above his fucking head you bot. you just wanted to eat me
@BlaqKobra also it’s a way to identify zen users, can’t lock timing in green window when the green window moves. cheaters are the reason it’s in the game and we asked for a way to fix it
