[2pm EDT Aug 22] NHC is monitoring two systems in the subtropical Atlantic, which both have a low chance of development through 7 days. In the deep tropics, a tropical wave currently over Africa is expected to emerge over water on Monday, and there is a medium chance this system develops into a tropical depression through the next week.
