@heyitskyli Though it is true that a teacher can pass down what they have learned while using technology this year especially they are having to deal with new experiences they hadn't had to deal with in the past so its a completely new learning experience for everyone.
I'm curious now how much this year of online learning has affected not only students but also teachers in younger grade levels with the change to online learning. How much has it really affected both sides. #EdChat2022
@hampton_ky It is true that we need to stress the importance of valuable databases. My question for you though is how would others besides yourself know which databases are valuable and which ones are not.
@ASchmidt2000 I agree that they should take advantage of the search engines that are offered. However I also think they should use more search engines than the usual ones provided to find different information with.
Is it just me or are other students in college also struggling with doing online courses? For me at least it has taken extra time and effort to process this new way of teaching and learning. #EdChat2022
@heyitskyli I agree that it is important for teachers to be able to correctly use technology. With how the world is going right now it can be hard for teachers to be able to teach without using technology.
@emily_kiser This is true that technology can be incorporated into many activities and lessons to help students. However in my opinion I think sometimes not using the internet is good too.
So in my own opinion the search engines that students are told to use in K-12 really limit them. Most schools first choice is to use google. However, there are other search sites that provide the same sites for information along with even more sources. #EdChat2022
