I locked myself away for three days straight, letting real ink hit real paper, replicating the grueling, soul-crushing discipline of pointillism to create 𝘝𝘦𝘳𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘶𝘴: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘊𝘢𝘯𝘷𝘢𝘴.
It wasn't selected for @thebeaksart contest.

When you pour your sweat, your posture, and your own music into a piece, a rejection stings. It’s my first real loss in a while, and it sits heavy in my chest.

But a true artist doesn’t put down the pen just because the first door slams shut.

Instead, it made me look deeper at why I drew him in the first place. 🧵

It is covetousness that pushes people to sell their properties in Nigeria to take up care jobs in America — Pastor Dolapo Lawal

During a recent service, Pastor Dolapo Lawal criticised the growing desire among Nigerians to relocate abroad, saying many are driven by covetousness and social pressure rather than wisdom or proper planning.

“It’s a f%olish thinking. Because you are seeing people taking pictures in the UK you think they are okay? Now you go there and get stranded there but you cannot come back because of shame,” he said.

He warned that social media often gives a false impression of life abroad, making people believe everyone is successful outside the country.

“How many people have gone to the UK and become a millionaire there? You better wake up,” he added, urging people to rethink selling property in Nigeria just to relocate for care jobs abroad.

Something about the color blue just hits different when it’s ink on paper. 🖊️🎨

For my entry into the @LaunchMyNFT Content Creator’s Initiative, I wanted to strip things back to the basics. No complex renders.
Just monochromatic shades of blue and a simple pen to recreate the iconic LMNFT logo. 👍🏾

🔹𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬: I’m a big believer that "No Code" shouldn't mean "No Soul." I modeled this piece to mirror the LMNFT philosophy: 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘹 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭.✨

Watching the ink bleed into the paper felt like a perfect metaphor for how LMNFT bridges the gap across 10 different chains...smooth, fluid, and connected.

🔹𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤: I couldn't just use any stock audio. I produced a custom 1-minute Afro pop track specifically for this video. 🎵

• The Vibe: Calm, rhythmic, and "audible."

• The Lyrics: I wanted the lyrics to tell the story of the "No Code, No Hassle" movement.

𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘚𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘵𝘰 𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘦, 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘷-𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘺 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘴.

It’s been a while, and I decided to do something today. I went out into the streets to draw attention to the Base ecosystem @base , engaging directly with people and introducing them briefly to what Base is all about.

I met a few individuals who showed genuine interest, and I walked them through the ecosystem, explaining its value and opportunities. I was able to successfully onboard them by helping them download Zora @zora and the Base app @baseapp , encouraging them to start creating content on Base.

This was my first time doing something like this, and I must say it was both lively and very encouraging. I plan to continue initiatives like this till I’m able to onboard a massive amount of people into the ecosystem. Base isn’t just a community for a particular set of people it’s for everyone. Everybody needs Base, and everybody deserves to be onboarded.
