My question to #judgeDennisDavis on whether the Eurocentric defined concept of democracy has worked in Africa. Can this reasoning justify #EmmersonMnangagwa’s #CAB3? Does the form of governance matter or it is merely good governance that matters whatever the form it takes?
Another step towards developing a leading voice on the #AfCFTA and contributing to the evolution of #WTO discourse from an African perspective. Grateful to @UctLaw Law and to @RegisYSimo for his exceptional guidance and mentorship.
@ProfJNMoyo@ibbosnr@NewsHawksLive@DMwonzora was right when he asked for politics of civil disputation against the politics of the G40, the politics of @ProfJNMoyo - ready to spew vitriol. Primitive politics. Come 2028 Simboti has my vote
@rangamataire You are an intellectual midget. The pride in the cotton should have transcended to a pride in the local textile industry. It used to be vibrant, it is non-existent now.
@esbhawini@MightiJamie That too can be an interpretation. It is a case of human judgement. It is on
Such bases that I am of opinion that the criticism of the ref is a little overboard. Any decision from there is contestable. The ref has a prerogative to use his discretion.
@MightiJamie The ball boys were mischievous, Morocco will account . The decision made above was “subjectively” correct same as the penalty decision. It could have gone either way and still be contestable. Rule 5 and 10 of FIFA rules. Not so sure how you had to bring in corruption in this .
Africa achieved a historic milestone by negotiating a comprehensive AfCFTA agreement in just five years.
In the upcoming episode of the #AfCFTAPodcast, Prof. Faizel Ismail, Director of the Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance, reflects on the Agreement’s innovative approach, rooted in the value of solidarity, which recognises and accommodates diverse levels of resources and capacities across African countries.
Tune in for an insightful conversation.

@TembaMliswa The fulcrum of a diplomatic Themba is in paragraph 3, where he is pointing to competence or lack thereof. Themba is making an admission that Smith regime had better governance mechanisms than that of Emmerson. I agree with Themba. Governace is not for everyone.
@joseph_kalimbwe His excellence the life president of Malawi Ngwazi, Dr Hestongs Kamuzu Banda turned sand into bees & defeated Rhodesian army, a NATO standard army. By the same approach, fate will be inevitable for Trump. Victor Matemadanda openly challenged Trump and he chickened out .
Africa will only rise when we unite. Removing tariff and non-tariff barriers is urgent. We must harmonize laws and allow free movement of people, goods, and services. Without unity, we won’t realize Africa’s full potential. #PanAfricanism#AFCFTA ,#agenda2063
@GaytonMcK This spectacle would have been even more beautiful if Africa had done away with restrictive borders and visa regimes. Freer movement would have allowed fans from both nations to travel easily and rally behind their teams.
If Mzee @KagutaMuseveni believes in politics of Metamorphosis then he must allow the process to take place in #Uganda.
That consolidating power by the barrel of guns is a thing of the past, that power can be transferred through a fair Democratic means of balloting.
#BafanaBafana is not robbed. The ref’s decision on the pen is a subjective decision from an objective occurrence. The defenders hand is planted on the ground when hit by the ball. “ ball to hand” we are gutted, that’s football. #EGYRSA#AFCON2025.
