@turbomonsterr Metroid Prime , the MGS hd collection back in the day was probably the best way to play those games , I quite liked the Nathan Drake collection on PS4 as well.

@AugustRaven Tbf I played the original Silent Hill 2 last year and was very surprised how little resource management actually mattered. I left the first area with 80 bullets the gameplay has always been like this

There was no QOL or watering down ideas you just tried shit even it sucked ass sometimes. Playing System Shock rn and these maps are such ridiculous mazes but it's so cool regardless.

@nise_yoshimi I think theres some untapped potential in monsters you can't kill just because it forces you think outside the box and get creative with getting around them.

But most of those kinda games just have you hide in cabinets with no real mechanics beyond that

MGS3 and 5 are both games with unparalleled levels of interactivity and freedom in gameplay, Death Stranding is a wild experiment that no one would dare to try with that budget. He makes gamey ass games.

@Y0Sat0ru To be completely fair RE is mostly an anthology series. You play as New characters in new settings almost every game. Leon is the only guy who has 3 games, and even his 3rd one is shared with a new protagonist so its not the same as MGS at all. This makes sense for an re movie.

Super heroes get huge reinventions every 10 years , Absolute Batman was hated before it dropped and now everyone loves it. Just feels silly to dismiss stuff Lol
